Since it’s inception, Hudson River Community Sailing has been an organization that commands public attention. An integral part of our mission is to make a difference and the media has noticed. Over the course of this past summer HRCS has been featured on live television and in various print publications. This has brought HRCS into a public spotlight greater than ever before, helping garner attention and make people aware of the special services we have to offer.

NY1 Morning Show Feature

NY1 featured HRCS on their morning show. They filmed live from our facility, interviewing our founder Bill Bahen, our Program Director Alex Baum and various other members of our organization.

Featured On Good Day NY

Good Day NY reporter Julie Chang hit the open waters of the Hudson River for a sailing lesson. A group of students and their instructor from the Hudson River Community Sailing School showed Julie how to maneuver the boat.

NSHF Recognizes AASP

Hudson River Community Sailing has developed and implemented an Accredited After School Program to teach math and science through sailing. A joint effort with the National Sailing Hall of Fame & Sailing Center is underway to implement the program in public schools.
