How To Join
- Fill out our Membership Form so we have your info and can expect you for our orientation meeting.
- Attend a Monday Night Members Orientation Meeting to get to know us and review our Policies and Procedures.
- For captain-level members, pass the HRCS Captain’s Written Test administered at the Monday Night Members Orientation Meeting.
- For captain-level members, complete the HRCS Captain’s On-the-Water Practical and rigging test scheduled after your completing and passing of the Cpt. Written Test.

About the Membership
Membership Term: One year from date of joining
Sailing Season: May 1 - October 14
Sailing Schedule: Boats available to members at 10am, 2pm, and 6pm seven days a week during the sailing season

About the Fleet/Facility
Fleet
- Ten J24 sailboats, spinnaker-rigged on moorings, equipped with 4hp 4-stroke outboard engines
- Lifejackets available for member use
- Launch motorboat for transport to sailboats on moorings
Facility
- Two bathrooms, two showers/changing rooms
- Classroom for meetings/debriefs/socials equipped with whiteboard and projector/screen
- Dock for launch motorboat, temporary sailboat tie-off

Levels Of Membership
Captain Level
Strong and competent sailor who has proven sea time as a captain. The Captain may sail a boat with crew-level members and/or friends/family.

Pay Per Sail
Call the office to reserve a boat and go sailing as often as boats are available for a fee per four-hour sail.

Crew Level
No prerequisites to join. For those learning to captain a boat. Requires a Captain-level member to go sailing.
