Daily Schedule9 am – Assemble to discuss morning lesson/activity and schedule for day930 am – Break into two groups, Group A and Group B:Group A – Out on the water sailing, learning a specific aspect of sailing and how to work as a team, taking a trip, racing, or playing a gameGroup B – In small groups on land, learning how sailing, math/science, and leadership/teamwork connect through games/activities.12 pm – Break for lunch, get some water, and rest out of the sun. Play games on land and discuss the afternoon lesson/activity1 pm – Groups A and B switch from what they did in the morning330 pm – Debriefing, discussing what we learned today and what we will learn tomorrow4 pm – Time to head home and rest up for another great day tomorrow

What is City Sail September?The best way to spend your days off in September in NYC. Escape the heat and noise of the city and spend a few days on the Hudson River. Drive the boat, meet kids like you, and learn cool skills to impress your friends and family. Go fast and measure your boat speed. Accelerate through the water and learn what lives in the water. On the boat, you will work in small groups – no more than 5 per instructor.When is City Sail September?September 14th, 15th, 23rd, and 24thWhere is City Sail?Program is held at our Pier 66 Boat House, located where West 26th Street meets the Hudson River in New York City. The program also utilizes various green spaces in Hudson River Park adjacent to the boat house. While on the water, we mostly stay between Pier 96 at 56th Street and Pier 40 at Houston Street, unless we are going on a trip.
