Return to the River is a weekend-long celebration that brings together the students and families in our youth development programs, the members in our adult sailing club, and the general public to showcase the great things happening at HRCS. On Saturday at our Chelsea location students will bless, launch, and sail the wooden boats they have been building all winter! Volunteers and staff will offer short sailing lessons to the general public free of charge. There will be food, music, and nautical activities on the Pier, and maritime themed workshops in our classroom.  On Sunday at our Uptown location there will be free sails for the public.

Hudson River Community Sailing develops leadership and academic success in underserved New York City youth through sailing education and provides maritime education and recreation to the community at large. HRCS is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
