Tugboat W.O. Decker Charter
Get ready for a one-of-a-kind adventure on the last surviving New York-built wooden tugboat W.O. Decker, named “Tugboat of the Year” by the prestigious Steamship Historical Society of America!
Enjoy a private ride for up to 14 passengers around New York Harbor aboard the South Street Seaport Museum's 1930 tugboat the W.O. Decker during the 2026 season. W.O. Decker was built in Long Island City, Queens, in 1930 for the Newtown Creek Towing Company. She is an exemplary model of the types of tugs that were once an abundant sight in New York Harbor.

Jalopy Jr. Music & Dance Summer Camp
Choose either Beginner or Intermediate week. Campers will have the opportunity to focus on singing, guitar, banjo, fiddle, ukulele and traditional folk dances and games. Here, at Jalopy, we are flexible and can find a place for any student with any amount of previous musical experience. Our goal is to make music education approachable, fun, and accessible to any student regardless of their previous experience or financial situation.
With our light-hearted, song-based teaching style, students will begin playing songs immediately and will perform them at week’s end. This program is an excellent choice for any child who enjoys music and learning. We can help you figure out which is best for them.
