HRCS operates at Dyckman Street Marina in the northern Manhattan community of Inwood. Our Inwood site furthers our mission of providing New Yorkers affordable access to the waterfront, including a dedicated membership program and STEM and leadership education for neighborhood students.
2023 Inwood Community Days
With generous support provided by the Partnerships for Parks Capacity Fund Grant, HRCS offers Community Days for our neighbors in northern Manhattan. Sign up and join us for a free hour of sailing on the Hudson.
Have you always wanted to give sailing a try? This is the perfect opportunity! Preference will be given to residents of Inwood and Washington Heights.
2023 Community Day Schedule: April 22nd Car Free Earth Day, June 24th, July 15th City of Water Day, September 30th.

Inwood Membership
HRCS's Inwood membership is a great option for anyone interested in sailing exclusively from our Dyckman Street Marina location. Members sign up for sails online and are matched with an HRCS-certified skipper. Whether you live in upper Manhattan or the surrounding areas, you'll enjoy some of the most beautiful views on the Hudson every time you sail. The Inwood season runs from May-October with sailing Thursday-Sunday. Attend a Membership Orientation to learn more.

This uptown location provides access to a quiet part of the Hudson River long inaccessible to sailors. Flanked by the New Jersey Palisades and hills of northern Manhattan, sailing in Inwood offers an escape into nature, with all the food and culture of Dyckman Street just minutes away.
