Sailing for Scholars Gala and Regatta

Sailing for Scholars is Hudson River Community Sailing's annual fundraiser to support STEM and leadership development for NYC public school students and provide maritime access to New Yorkers of all abilities. This year’s event will be held at the New York Yacht Club and includes a silent auction, special guests, and other surprises. The fun continues on Saturday and Sunday as teams race in a two-day regatta. Your support helps HRCS strengthen its foundation and build for the future.
Awards Party Tickets
All Sailing for Scholars racers are invited to the Awards Party at the Hudson following the event for free!
Anyone who did not participate in Sailing for Scholars is required to purchase a ticket to attend. Each ticket admits ONE (1) guest to the Awards Party and includes one (1) drink ticket and dinner. Additional drinks available at cash bar. Limited tickets are available.

Since 2010, Sailing for Scholars has brought together teams of New Yorkers to compete on the Hudson and raise funds for transformative youth development and public access programs. In 2025, our First Annual Sailing for Scholars Corporate Challenge is an exciting new opportunity for companies to network, compete, and support a great cause!
