US Sailing Coastal Navigation Course

Course Description
This 22.5 hour course provides the student with a foundation in coastal navigation skills following a curriculum set by US Sailing, the national governing body of sailing.  Students learn how to read charts, identify their position, plot courses and get various types of fixes (identification of one’s position on a chart).  Students who successfully complete the course will earn the US Sailing Coastal Navigation Certification.  *Offered at Chelsea location only.*
