Congratulations on becoming a member!
You've got a year ahead of you of sailing, learning and making new friends.
Join our Slack bulletin board to communicate with members and help coordinate sails.
You will receive instructions via email shortly to log in to our private membership page, the Member Hub, where you can sign up for sails and workshops. Please also look out for the Member Bulletin email, which has announcements and lists upcoming workshops. If you are interested in becoming a skipper, check out the How to Become a Skipper document below. We also encourage you to download the Policies and Procedures document that you just reviewed.
The hub is accessed either via the direct URL www.hudsonsailing.club or by clicking the member login button at the top of our homepage www.hudsonsailing.org.
Visit the Hudson River Community Sailing Facebook page to learn about organization-wide and youth program events. Just click the "Like" button to follow.

- What Time To Arrive: It’s always nice to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled sail if possible. Be sure to look at the “notes” section of your sail in case the skipper has shifted the time of departure or return.
- Length of the Sail: Sail times are listed on the member site.
- When You Arrive: Check in with the HRCS “Leader of the Day” or “LD”, indicated at the top left of the Boat Board. Then, check the Boat Board for your name, to see who your skipper is and which boat you’re on. Then hang out and meet other members before heading out. Just introduce yourself!
- Punch Cards: If you are a Pay-Per-Sail member, or have registered a guest, have your punch card ready. If you need to buy a new card, or pick up the card you purchased with your membership, ask the Leader of the Day (LD).
See you on the water soon!
